PCW magazine, of VNU publications, for its February 2005 edition reviewed the biggest 8 backup software titles in the market, from developers including Veritas, Dantz, Computer Associates and others, and performed extensive performance and benchmark tests on all of them. Genie Backup Manager came out on top in the low-end packages category, winning the "Highly Recommended" award.
